HUNGRY. NAUSEOUS. TIRED. CAN’T SLEEP. NESTING. TERRIFIED. THRILLED. ANXIOUS. EXCITED…. PREGNANCY!
Everyone experiences a different story and a different journey when it comes to pregnancy. I wanted to share one with you from one of my favourite Yoga instructors. I never shared my journey as for me pregnancy was… lets say a breeze- no sickness, got to go to work, got to run after a 2 year old, got to travel, ate fairly normally. It was only in the last few weeks that were challenging, as I carried an overdue, big baby around. I was fatigued, sore, and getting impatient for our little man to arrive.
Yes, I am the lucky one as people would say, but I do put it down to the preparations I took before I fell pregnant- Yoga, Relaxation, Acupuncture and Diet- I got my body ready to house a healthy and happy baby. Just remember… ‘the changes in your body will last for just nine months, but the beauty of motherhood will embrace you for the rest of your life’. So whatever your journey or story, the only way to actually enjoy it is to just embrace it, accept it and ride the roller-coaster of changes, challenges and joys!
